Bothselo, Dominant Male Leopard of the Kalahari

A portrait of Bothselo, a well‑known male leopard documented by the Kalahari Leopard Project. Long regarded as the dominant male of the southern region, he now carries fresh scars and blood on his nose from recent territorial clashes as younger males challenge his position. Photographed in natural conditions in the Kgalagadi’s dry savanna.
